Good morning! Soft recovering from yesterday night, nice walk around. We can have a stop at the local market on the way to Ba Be National Park. We’ll have lunch with Mr. Manh and his family then boat down the river through the jungle until Dau Dang Waterfalls haunted by the famous Ong Pirate. We’ll stay in his house for the night, right in the heart of the primary jungle. Wild night for sure!

We can go through 2 different itineraries depending on local news, we can either go back to Pac Noi village and ride all the way by bike or put the bikes on a boat to cross Na Hang lake Xuan Giang is a nice little homestay near a waterfall, warm welcome. Sustainable development project

Today is an old fashion Têt Fiesta Tour itinerary beautiful and tough, the 6 last km are hard tracks made of stones, bumpy that offer enormous ‘récompense’ when we finally reach the wonderfull Bô village and our Pa Then friends. Big Fiesta tonight Tcho va to Sé (you’ll understand once there!)

We ride through some of the most stunning landscapes of North Vietnam. Up and down, we will touch Chinese bordure at Xin Man, then a bit of wild tracks again until Lung Phin. H’mong and Phu La ethnic territories. We stays at Mr. Toa House who his children Lu  and Binh are partners with LavieVuLinh Project. We will inaugurate the place on this very special occasion for today is Têt’s EVE!!!

Today is the first day of the Goat. The horse vanished yesterday with corn alcohol steam. Tradition wants us to have a drink with all the neighbours to bring luck for the new year. We propose then to stay to Bac Ha short ride to Bac Ha hotel where we will appreciate a hot shower.

We go down to the valley, following the Chay river until the Thac Ba lake the biggest lake in North Vietnam. Tonight we stay with our friends in a very small village yet huge atmosphere. Têt Fiesta Tour is still on!
